Team Cost

  • $75 per team
  • $40 per free agent
  • If you want to play but do not have a team, please reach out to kyle@windsorathleticclub.com to become a free agent.


How to Sign up

  • Each team will need a team captain. This team captain will be in charge of purchasing and setting up their team. 
  • Members can purchase the team on our new app or in our online portal. The league can be found under programs and the field house. 
  • Non-members will need to reach out to kyle@windsorathleticclub.com to get an account created first.


League Format

  • Team Size: 2 Players 
  • Age Range: All ages are welcome. 
  • Match Length: Best 2 out of 3 games. 
  • All games played to 11
  • Must win by 2
  • The semi-final and championship games will be a best-of-3 match, with games going to 15, and the winner must win by 2
  • Game Days: Matches are scheduled on Sundays, between 11 am and 1 pm.
  • League Dates: 
  • Week 1: January 11th, 2026
  • Week 2: January 18th, 2026
  • Week 3: January 25th, 2026
  • Week 4: February 1st, 2026
  • Week 5: February 8th, 2026
  • Week 6 (Playoffs): February 15th, 2026
  • Playoffs: Top 4 teams qualify. 1st seed will play 4th seed and 2nd seed will play 3rd seed.

League Rules

  • Scoring: Traditional Side-Out Scoring
  • Only the serving team can score points.
  • A side-out occurs when the receiving team wins a rally.
  • First team to 11 points, win by 2

  • Serve Rules
  • Underhand stroke, paddle contact below the waist.
  • Both feet must be behind the baseline at contact.
  • Serve diagonally into the opposite service box.
  • Serve must clear the non-volley zone (kitchen).
  • Double-bounce rule: serve return must bounce, then the serving team must let the return bounce before hitting it.
  • Non-Volley Zone (“Kitchen”)
  • No volleying while standing in or touching the kitchen.
  • Momentum into the kitchen after a volley = fault.
  • Balls that bounce in the kitchen may be played normally.
  • Faults (Causing loss of serve or side-out)
  • Ball hit out of bounds.
  • The ball hits the net and doesn’t go over.
  • Volleying in the kitchen.
  • Double-bounce rule violated.
  • Wrong player serves or receives.
  • Contacting the ball twice.
  • Ball hits player or clothing.
  • Player Expectations
  • Arrive 10 minutes early.
  • Warm-up limited (e.g., 5 minutes).
  • Teams make their own line calls honestly.
  • If disagreement → replay the point.
  • Subs allowed only with league approval.
  • Use appropriate footwear (non-marking).
  • Yell “BALL ON COURT!” to stop unsafe play.
  • Respect staff, players, and equipment.
  • Keep courts clean.
  • Good sportsmanship is required at all times.
